The APV VT / HT Origin scraped surface heat exchanger, operates on an adaptable platform and is specifically designed to operate under harsh conditions where other heat exchanger technologies may fail or lose operational efficiency over time. The APV VT / HT can be sold as equipment at the component level or as part of an APV system solution.
With compliance to 3-A sanitary requirements, the APV VT / HT Origin effectively heats or cools low and medium viscous products with or without particles. There are two primary configurations for the APV VT / HT Origin scraped surface heat exchanger:
Horizontal (HT)
- Rigid stainless-steel frame
- Extendable up to 6 cylinders with ease
Vertical (VT)
- Manual “pivot-point” feature allows for easy re-positioning of the cylinder in production or service modes
- Requires minimal space
Areas of application
- Heating
- Cooling
- Crystallization
- Pasteurization
- Sterilization
Benefits:
- Customizability and flexibility in configuration
- Available in vertical and horizontal orientations
- Adaptability to various applications
- Convenient and swift maintenance
- Improved scraper blade with hinged design
- Options for single and double mechanical cartridge seals
- Tangential ports for enhanced functionality
- Support by a team of skilled and experienced engineers

OPTIONS & PERFORMANCE
No matter your specific application, the multiple Origin options provide a customized design that perfectly fits your current requirements and remains adaptable for future processing needs.
The APV VT / HT Origin scraped surface heat exchanger offers flexibility based on your product, production volume, hygienic requirements, space constraints and heating/cooling medium. Its modular design allows for easy adjustment to meet your process needs.
For process customization, you can choose between stainless steel or duplex steel and there are three optional rotor diameters available. The standard offering includes a self-loading hinged scraper blade, while a floating flat blade is suitable for various products, including those with particulates. Additional options include rotor heating, insulation and double mechanical seals.
The APV VT / HT Origin Series adheres to 3-A sanitary design and fabrication standards and is certified for PED, CE and CRN compliance. The design is built to EHEDG standards although a certificate was not pursued.
